• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

A Sheffield knife

Very interesting, particularly liked the use of the Bow-Drill. Some of the equipment and the buildings shown are really dilapidated, probably there at the time of Dickens :D Might explain the sorry drop in quality witnessed at Sheffield over the years. Nevertheless, this looked a very nice knife and the men real artisans.

I don't think it's the 1950s though, most of those type of promo documentaries would still have been in black&white. Also, the shot of the yard showed a late 1950s-early 60s British Ford and a yellow car that looked like a 1970s Triumph Toledo. I may be mistaken.

Thank you for posting this.

Regards, Will

Hi!

Great vid about making a Sheffield!

The used tools at that manufacture are the hit. Really old stuff! I like to see such old tools in use.

Kind regards
Andi
