A Short Fiddleback Machete Video

Hey Mist - great of you to post and VERY impressive. I was amazed to see the depth the blade cut into the wood and bamboo. I would imagine that if you were not cutting for the camera but on the ground as you would for real, so to speak, you could go through with 2 or 3 cuts!

Thanks for sharing and kudos to Andy for a great blade.

Thanks man, glad you enjoyed the post. I seldom cut on the ground, bad for edges. I do sometimes use a log for a cutting board if one is handy though. If I were cutting that for real rather than trying to demonstrate how well the machete bites I would still have done it up right (no log handy), but I would have just hit it once on each side and then broke it. But...then the video would have been even shorter :)

Another great video Mistwalker!

I need to get one of these, how do I go about doing it? Contact Andy now, or wait until they are released and hope I can get one?

Thanks man, glad you liked the video. Just wait, once he gets them in (which is supposed to be this month) he'll have 100 of each to start with. I'm sure he can order more if all of them sell, and the part about working out the design is in the past now...I think...
