A Short Review of the Fall Beckerhead Gathering

I recognize some of the folks in the photos, but most I don't. Looks like an awesome time, btw. That beef looks excellent.

We got there and went to take some pics, but then discovered that our Camera wasn't working properly. So none from us. Was a heck of a good time though. Ethan's hospitality is world-class. Saturday night's feast was incredible.

I finally got all my pics uploaded, now, I have to make some movies, but I'll have something up today, this morning hopefully.

the trip/food/folks, & fun was well worth all the driving.
and those "steaks"? those were ribeyes, each big enough to count as a small roast - fork tender and tasty...

Great food, people and got to spend time with 3 living legends Ethan, Jerry & the Arkanian. I had a blast and met some great people. Did i mention the food and Arkanian LOL

Dude, everyone forgot to mention, Murphnuge is the man, ate a scorpion (one could stretch that to read Bladite hand fed him a scorpion)...
 
I like how Ark ran back to the table looking for more rounds to put in the magazine and had to fight off Kay! I am glad everyone had fun playing with the suppressor.
 
I wanted to shoot, but I figured I would look like a retard, so I stayed where I was, cutting vegetables. Maybe next year... :(

damn if there weren't scorpions to catch :> biggest was almost 2 inches long. they glow in the YELLOW dark in the LED blacklight i brought. sweet.

the funny part, wish i had a picture, is that the chitin bits left over in his mouth later on STILL glowed. hah hah hah :)

nah, shoulda stepped up. it's good times. though i should talk, i held back too. just figured i'd let others have fun as i get to practice a lot, and i just wasn't feeling it.

next year, E might have some ringers and gongs, much fun :>
 
since they said you could use *ANY* knife for the chopping test, SOMEONE went and asked Ethan for the most bad ass chopper he has.

what was it?

the fixed blade Case pilot survival knife.

just to say, that knife is what the Pestilence Chopper is based on...

it kicked ASSETS...
