A short self review for everyone

I just would like to deviate for a moment. It is in the afternoon so this is not brown bottle talk.

I strive to make all my posts short and concise. Some may take my answers as curt. It is not meant that way. Too many expound thier theories with numerous paragraphs, ok, not me. I've been here for more than a few years.

I'm old, 59. A veteran. I see things different than most. I have used my khukuri a few times, for real. I live in Florida, snakes , alligators and "dopers" abound.

I don't want to rub anyone the wrong way. I apologize if I sound too rough.

I love this site and a few here have / had personal agendas, not me. I wish everyone the best!

So, if I say something that sounds personal, it is not meant to be. Email me so I can expalin or apologize to you.

You always have seemed a fine man and a good person to me.

But then, I DID marry my ex-wife, so my judgement is not always impeccable.:D

I'd much rather talk to some one who gets right to the point than some one who talks just hear their own voice.

Sams, I disagree with one point - 59 is not old. (I'm not quite there yet but hope to be one day.) :)

Besides it isn't the age, it's the miles. Some folks see enough by the time they're thirty to last a lifetime and more. Others never see a thing...:(
 
You're good in my book Sams...I can live without the ones that expound.

BTW...I'm a few years younger, ex military, ex schoolteacher (Special Ed Behavior). I like direct and to the point.
 
Sams, lots of people talk WAY too much, and NEVER get to the point. I live with a couple of them.

I've enjoyed your posts. They're real. If I get a vote, don't change.

OK, 59 is a LITTLE old (I'm 55).

The older I get, the older old gets!

I don't mind short posts, that doesn't mean that they are rude. I don't like rude posts and that doesn't mean that they are short. In fact, the worst rude posts are the ones where somebody writes a long post parsing everything that somebody else thinks.
 
I like direct, being a former member of uncle sam's misguided children I like it when people don't have to make me think too much since my knuckles still tend to drag on the floor when i walk.
 
I've never heard of a problem post from you. But the offer of e-mail contact is much appreciated.
