Here is what I thought..................... stolen from SOCNET, my hangout place. :-)

I have these very same words posted over my desk at work, along with a picture of a Sturgeon-class submarine. I believe they came from Teddy Roosevelt. ;)

Did you spend time on a sub Raghorn?

I made one trip on a deployment, lock out, then at a compass coordinate picked up. Treading water in the middle of the ocean in of the dark night is hard on the nerves. You can't help but think maybe you didn't kick hard enough to stay on compass course.
