A short wander; Plants & Playing With New Kit

Looking good Mist and nice job on the two stick. I tried doing a two-hole in the bush yesterday but failed at it miserably. I assume you sheath the knife when using the divot in the handle? How do you like it compared to a stone?

Thanks Ken. You hang around Rick a lot so I'm a bit hesitant to touch this but...not remembering the two-hole method? Nope, the sheath would cover the divot. The location of the divot and how you hold the knife makes for very little chance of getting hurt. I've used several knives that had bow divots in the handles and no injuries so far. As far as a stone or antler goes if given the choice t the time I'd use the stone or antler but I like the divot in the handle much better than making one in the field.

Thanks for posting Mistwalker . I always enjoy your post. I have the same compass. It is a keeper. I also have knife with a ( B ) on it and really love it.

If it was not 104 Degrees and we were not under a burn ban I would get out and play with mine.
Thanks
Jeff

Thanks Jeff, glad you enjoy them, and the MC2G is definitely a keeper.

Yeah, I've got a few with Bs on them myself and really like them all very well..

Oh, only a little off topic lol. But yes I still like it a lot, for a fishing knife especially. It is a great shape, easy to work with and holds an edge well. My partner has taken up fly fishing lately and has been doing a lot of fishing in general so he has been carrying it and he really likes it too.

Glad to hear it's still being well used, is ya partner on BF....if so get him to post some more pics of it in action !

He's a member here to keep up with what I've posted lately because he helps me set things up but he doesn't post photos, he leaves that to me. I'll try to get with him on one of his trips and take some photos when I have more time though. Right now I'm working on my house and some things are on a time line that doesn't leave me a lot of free time.

Great post Mist

PLEASE keep em coming!!!

Dr.Bill

Thanks Bill, glad you enjoyed it!
