They'll show up on e-bay from time to time. It's not too late to get one, but we'll never see new ones for $99.99 like we did a few days ago at Cabelas Canada. I got my last one while they were offered.

It's the "pebbled" or "popcorn" stag that is said to be prominent on the 19th century knives. I guess it's a subtle change in the species over the years. At least that's what I read. I'll try to find the reference.

It may be till after the holiday when I can participate in the Stag photo display.
