I sit on the stairs and it feel ergonomic, the papers are kept straight and can be changed fast. I have done the old thumb tack and mouse mat gig on a table but this set up just destroys that. I used 180, 240, 400 grit papers. Polish on the back side of a fabric paper and then the fuzzy side of leather.
