Thanks OH-since you read often, you are probably very familiar with the story for the picture below. These are my two favorite stockman knives along with my two boys. These are their Birth Knives (see Let's Talk GEC thread).
OH, thanks for your generosity and your support to this forum. Your input has helped to make it a great place to hang out. Congratulations on your milestone.:thumbup:
Favorite Stockman = Buck 301 with Charcoal "Dymondwood" covers.
I've never seen that model Case, it's very nice looking. I actually don't have a stockman right now, I gave one away and sold my other. I really liked my GEC #82, I sold it for personal reasons. I would like to enter. Thank you for the generous giveaway chance.
Very old picture of the two knives to which I referred:
I'm in! Here's my favorite stockman. This knife was given to me by my grandfather I believe, it's been so long, I don't even remember. I can remember always carrying it, sharpening it (poorly), whittling spear sticks with it, cutting bailing twine on his farm, and even carving up my dresser with it. It gave me my first serious knife cut to the bone of my thumb while hacking up the said dresser. I thought I lost it and found it in a spot I had looked 5 times. I'll be sure to put it back!
