A light weight easy carry drop point pattern with the same materials, heat treating and care as any of my knives. This is the style of knife that has suited me well as I have carried them in the woods for the past 40 years; about as long a time as I have been making knives. I have field dressed large and small game never having to sharped the blade until the skinning was done. The exception was a moose that had been wallowing in mud so his fur was full of sand and grit-- I had to sit down and sharpen on that one.
Stock removal from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with a 400 grit belt finish
Stabilized curly maple scales over a full distal tapered tang
Overall length: 8 inches
Blade: 3 1/2 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
$120 delivered within these United States. Please message me for shipping and payment options. ( I have quit posting my email address on BF since the scams started up here)
