A simple yet very specific question

Hey folks, I have a quick question about the Spartan Blades Akribis folder. Does anyone know if the pocket clip is reversible. As a lefty like being able to carry my folders in my left pocket with the clip on the left side of the knife. Just curious if anyone knows if this is possible or not. I know it kind of has mixed reviews around these parts but I really love the look, materials and build quality of the knife. I got to handle one about a year ago and like the way it felt in hand and finally have the means of maybe getting one IF I can carry it the way I want to. So, appreciate the insight.
 
It doesn't appear to be reversible.

It looks like the clip side has a small groove milled under the lanyard hole. The "lefty" side doesn't appear to have the same groove.
 
Yeah I was noticing that too. Although I found another picture somewhere (the location escapes me at the moment) showing the slot cut on the other side... I'll try to find it. But always appreciate your inputs, BB.

Yeah, that's probably the best COA. Just curious if anyone had any first hand knowledge.
 
That pic does look reversible. I wonder if the early ones were only righty-compatible?

One day, I'll own an Akribis. I keep pushing off on getting one for some reason. If you get one, let us know what you think!
 
Just talked to them. The very nice lady confirmed that the newer version of the knife does, in fact, have a reversible. I think I am gonna pull the trigger on one. Thanks for the number, though. You definitely helped me out.
 
No problem, that was quick! Good to know their CS dept. answers promptly.

What finish are you looking at? I really like the grey PVD and the black too, with CF of course:)
 
Trigger pulled... I went with FDE with G10. I really like CF but I was trying to be more frugal (?... hahaha) with my order. I have so many black knives so FDE just felt right.
 
I bought 1 here lnib that had blade play in both directions. I read reviews that the quality and f/f was comparable to CRK...NOT.

To move the pivot the 1 scale must be removed....not quite like a CRK. Would I ever buy another Akribis................no. I wonder if

QC spent much time on this 1.
