It's been said, but not nearly enough... Many of you professional, and semi-professional bladesmiths that give their time and advice to those of us who really aren't deserving of any of it... those of us who dawdle in the art of making a sharp instrument that resembles a knife humbly thank each and every one of you... I personally, fully realize that each of us that enters the field, is potentially taking business away from you, any person who attempts to make a proper knife, whether we succeed or fail, is one less person to potentially buy one of your blades. We also run the risk of selling a less than top quality blade to someone, and souring them on the field of custom made knives. You also have to deal with "keyboard warriors" who will act as though they know everything in the world, regardless of how many times they are wrong. i have learned so much over the course of my adventures into this art form, and still have much much more to learn. So, i humbly thank each and every one of you that has offered a word of advice, and even criticism, to help me and every other visitor to this wellspring of knowledge, and for the guidance to help me grow in something that i really do love to do.
