A hunting knife for the person that likes to choke up on the blade and use the thumb and forefinger for better control. The downward curve of the handle gives this knife a comfortable feel in the hand.

1/8 inch ATS34 heat treated to Rc 58-60 with a cryogenic quench
A nice piece of cocabolo for the handle
Hollow ground and mirror finish
Overall length: 8 3/4 inches
Blade: 4 3/4 inches
Brass fixtures
Leather scabbard
It is hard to see in my photos but the blade is clipped

SOLD $140 plus $6 shipping within the continental US. Paypal or money order accepted. I will take your check if you don't mind waiting for it to clear before I ship.

GL, everytime you put up a knife I am more impressed than I was after the last one!

You do some really amazing work.

Thanks LC, I appreciate the comment. I recently retired from a job that took me into manufacturers around North and South America. They all had quality controll in place and many used the buzz word "Continuous Improvement". A good philosophy for us knife makers too.

Very intelligently designed for close quarters skinning and capering tasks, this,, as well as a continuous hard use camp and kitchen chores tool with its full tang construction. This fine knife will serve its owner well for many, many years to come!.

Thats a beauty, sir. You are quick becoming a favorite maker.

Two things that most Knifemakers dislike: making scabbards and trying to get a good photo of thier work.

a well worn 220 grit belt and green buffing compound Ray. This is why cocobolo is my favorite, I can polish the guard and the wood at the same time. Lots of natural oils in the cocobolo that come to the surface with buffing.

I cannot believe this bad boy is still here..

If'n it is still here by the latter end of the month when my money spigot is turned on again, then you feller's best color it gone/mine..:D

It's a nice one.

BTW, I got a phone call from my dad. He said a package arrived for me, and that it was labelled "small knife". I'm pretty excited.

Hondo;

Let me know what you think after you open the knife.

I received the knife today, and boy am I pleased. First impression.....It is bigger than expected. That is NOT a problem, I am happy with the size. Second impression was how beautiful the cocobolo is. The pic. does not do it justice. The fit and finish is great, fits my hand like a glove, and it is sharp as a razor. Am I satisfied???? You bet. Mr. Drew, I thank you. From a hunter and trapper that appreciates a good blade to a hunter that makes a great knife, I salute you.
