A (slightly) used Case and the stories it could tell

Here is my daddy's trapper that used for 40 years, until I bought him another one and he finally gave this one to me to keep. He want me to send it back to Case to get fixed, so in his word, "it'll be worth something." I told him, that to me it was worth more in the shape it is in now!!! All the years it has and stories it could tell!!! he got it the year I was born. He also was a carpenter and a serious outdoorsman.... So this knife has also seen alot of use..

I guess my Granddad was harder on knives than some people, because he wore this one down pretty good...

Just like Rod Stewart sang, "Every picture tells a story donut", I mean don't it.....

Those knives tell a story, it would be great to know the highlights of those knives, what they cut, and what they saw and heard, and felt the emotions of the original owner.
