Wow... that is a beautiful knife. The armadillo makes an excellent handle. Very unusual looking. Thanks.

Very pretty. Gives me the urge to touch it to see what it feels like...

I think you should leave it on the side of the road so it can be run over a time or two for authenticity's sake. (Otherwise it's a fine lookin' knife. <g>)

Can't understand why it hasn't been heard of before, THAT'S a TOP knife:thumbup:

Wonder how tough the scales are?

boo, hooo, baa, waa,(this is me doing a virtual cry baby act) at the death of my poor little knife being left on the side of the road by Blues:eek: and being run over and over!.  :( sniff, sniff.!..:) :)

That is a fantastic looking knife Sunny, you didn't whack one in the backyard and mail him the remains did you??

I have seen a fixed blade armadillo but your knife is light years ahead in the looking great catagory..

Thanks for sharing,

Sunburst

No, I did no such thing!!.. But, come to think of it... ;) .. Just kidding

I saw some armadillo scales floating around the Blade Show this year, but these are the first I have seen put to use. Those critters are taking Southern Missouri by storm. May have a new source of income out in the yard?? :)

They look good and should be durable. I think Oupa in Australia has redone a few knives with this scale. I don't recall if he's on here or KF.

Armadillo,
Armadillo,
Too ugly to love,
Too hard for a pillow.

Knice knife!
Talk about a conversation piece.
Does it curl into a ball in your pocket?
:P

I love it.. for sure, but curl in to a ball in my pocket.. Not like'n that by God..

It's , like totally unbelievablely cool!
Armadillo, where have you been all my life?? Being a yankee is not all it's cracked up to be!!:D :D :D
I've never seen a knife with fox, or polecat; just doesn't work:eek: . Just gotta get some 'dillos up north!

P.S. I'm still chewin' your offer sunny!

Looks great!

I passed a flat one on the highway today. Too bad I didn't see this post earlier. Maybe I'll go see if it's still there tomorrow. ;)

Unfortunately, the armadillo is the mascot for the college where I teach. I'm so glad we don't have a football team. Nothing less intimidating or more embarrassing than a "southern speed-bump" for a mascot. Maybe I'll show a little school spirit and put some "Dillo" scales on a stockman. :D

Hmmm. Mebbe I should be keeping an eye out in the yard for the next that comes around. Interesting looking knife. And built in armor to boot!

Did T.A. make dillo chili out of the rest of it?;)
