Here in Sweden its hard to find a interesting slipjoint on the secondary market. (And new ones to) I just found this for a small amount of money. It was dirty and a little rusty and the edges was butterknife sharp.
I gave it winager and olivoil and honed the edges. I have used it for a week now. The construktion is without play and the walk and talk is a funktional medium with nice snap.

By the way its a 34 OT and I have wanted one for about 15 years so im glad into the soul.

I'm happy you could score this knife...we here in the US sometimes don't appreciate the relative ease with which we can buy knives here, and I too forget what a chore it is to buy and collect knives overseas. Enjoy it, as I'm sure you will.:)

Nice find all the way over there. Would be nice to know its travels. I have been to your part of the world and it seemed to me slip joints were a very rare commodity!

I envy you; here in The Netherlands it is equally hard to find something good, especially second-hand. Congratulations!

wish Schrade had a single-blade pattern I liked because the steel on the old ones like that take and hold a great edge!

You're right, the 18OT may be small but it does have a single clip liner lock to it. Be sure to buy a USA made one.

Congrats Bosse! So glade you found such a great knife. Looks to be a keeper for sure. Keep posting pics to let us know how you're getting along. Enjoy!
