A small dream has come true.

WOW :eek::D
Great find Bosse. Especially over here in Europe.
Bart's right. Next to impossoble to find such knives over here.
IF you find knives on a fleamarket or such, it's mostly beat up (knock off) SAKs or cheap plastic handled advertising knives with some sort of mistery steel :grumpy:
Enjoy :thumbup:

Congratulations Bosse, that is a very good looking 34OT!

I bought one just like it way back in 1981. I was 15 and had saved up my money to purchase the 34OT. I carried that knife for years. I have so many memories of using that little slippy on fishing trips, work days and just every day carry. I lost it a few years ago and feel depressed every time I think about it. I keep thinking I'm going to find it hidden away in a corner of my shop.

You have inspired me to go on the hunt for a 34OT of my own to replace my old friend.

Congrats again and I hope you enjoy yours as much as I did mine.

Congratulations on a great find, Friend. I"m a Schrade guy. I like the patina on yours. Easy to sharpen.

I also like the Schade OT's, some of my favorite carry knives, always have an eye out for them, congrats

I have a schrade old timer improved muskrat 77OT since my late teenages. I used it a lot on fish and forest hens in those days together with my brother and our dog. It was my first american slipjoint and those brown delrin slabs realy signals good things to me. I like how the blades take a real good edge and that the blades darken realy deep. For me deeper than my case CV. This new for me small 34OT stockman seems to be as good and in my most apiciated pattern.

I used the vinager to loosen the rust and the olive oil to rub ite rust of. Its now kleened from all that and just hase a small drop of oil in the joint. I just carry my carbon steel knifes dry and kleen with no rustprotektion. Sweden is a dry and cold place so I have newer had any problems with rust. I recon this good patina this knife took so quick has to do with former neglect.

Good to see you around Bosse. I know that historically the use of folding knives was not very common in Sweden. Has that changed?
