A Small Mother Load...

Thanks jb4570, Fibron handles and I thought it was just wood... ... Boy, they made alot these... I wasn't trying to collect H/D knives... But I have a few now.... And No Harley to go with them... I'm going to have to borrow one of Pdave harleys... ;) ....

Or trade me the knives. :D

I have a couple of versions of that knife. There are some like my Shovelhead edition that had a gold etched blade and there were only 500 of each made. Mine has a black (fibron?) handle with a gold engine with turquoise and pearl inlayed in it. I believe that they were called the "Ultra" model. If you have access to the BCCI web site (if you don't, why not??;)). you can find them in the special projects lists.

Sure are some interesting things. It must feel like an important archeological find, opening up all these bits and pieces of treasure. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks wolfdog, I never looked at it like that... Archeological find....

Wow ITE :eek: It think you named the thread wrong! "small" should NOT be in it!

AND that is just ONE bag! Some great knives and blades in there. Being a tinkerer, I would love to have some of those to put scales and handles on.

Looking forward to "bag 2".

Peter

Dave, I think we need to see your other versions of your HD knives.... :D

The other fixed blade is the Knucklehead version. the handle is much like yours and it has the black etched blade. Both of those came in glass topped wood display cases. I just realized that I don't even have a picture of it.

The rest are the ten knife set of 110's. No pictures of them either. That will be a weekend project for me. I'll start a new thread about my Harley collection.

PD, That would be cool.... and we can all share are pics of HD knives... :D

Cool idea. It may have to wait a week or so though. My son and I just decided to take the motorhome and leave for the lake Monday. We'll be gone until Friday and I have to get the thing out of "mothballs" so to speak. I may be pretty busy this weekend getting ready.
