We're not in Kansas Toto...

I had a Case Soddie...I had these scales...I knew this guy....a piece here, a part there...it just came together ya know...

The scales are birch burl double dyed and polymer stabilized by Craig Stevens out of Alaska. The work was done by Muskratman over on the All About Knives forum...I provided the soddie...this is the results....

This is a one dot CV that I have had since 78 or 79...been used a good bit over the years and I though it deserved a sprucing up. The scales are proving very difficult to take good pics of that show the true colors but these are very close. May try more later...

Not just the scales, but that filework too. The Muskratman does some very good work (got a puukko of his)

Here are the scales before hand...they were just a bit too wide to be able get use much of the blue except on the edges.

It's a full sized soddie...a 2138 CV...

I still have this set of scales, dyed redwood....what to do with them? ummmmm.....

Wow, very nice! You'll definitely have to show us what you do with that redwood...;)

The figure in that wood is just beautiful. Really brought out by the finish you put on it.
