A special kind of gentleman

I very recently bought some knives from Bobby Branton. He hadn't listed them for sale; I hadn't advertised anywhere that I wanted them. I had asked a question in one forum about older knife makers, and Bobby read it and very generously offered me some knives from his personal collection to help mine grow. I hadn't had any contact with him previously; he didn't know me at all, had no reason to be so gracious - but that's the kind of quality guy he is. Like I said, he's a special kind of gentleman, and I thought everyone ought to know. Thanks much, Bobby.
