A Specific Gift: Spyderco or No?

If the niece says she'll go with half serrations, I will look at a Buck 110. She's not looking to carry it regularly, so weight won't be a big issue. But I'm still looking for options.

If you find a knife that works for you but doesn't have serrations, you are welcome to send it here first and I will put my serration pattern on it for you for a minimal fee plus shipping. You could grab one at a Canadian retailer to have them ship it to me and I can ship it to Spain after I work on it. It's a quick job so I would sneak it in with the current workload.

Spyderco Shaman comes in a full serrated model also, black or satin blade. And I'm sure you'd be able to find scales for it b/c of its popularity. Good luck!
