Found this rascal scooting up along the side of my house today

Awesome pix Gary!! That's a Marbled Orb Weaver!
Thanks for not killing it.

Thats a cool looking spider, orange is a great colour for a spider

I'v got one of the biggest orb weaving spiders I'v seen in a tree next to my house just now.
If it moves its web I'll snap a few pics, the things a ruddy monster ...:D:thumbup:

Gary, those are great closeups.
Plus you have an eye. Not many folks would have noticed the spider to begin with.

Thanks for posting those.

I wish I could photograph a knife without it being blurry. Great shots. I was trying to catch/release a jumping spider from my truck today, but he was too territorial to move. It became a very fast spider.

I have a good camera, but those are some excellent pics.

Pumpspider, or spiderkin, or jackospider, or spiderlantern.

it seems like a lot of knife guys would make good photographers. i would give it a try if my best (and only) camera wasnt my g1's

Thanks guys, one of my favourite pics I took a while back was of a small
very small spider, his back was raised and there was a face on it, like the
painting of the scream;

Thanks guys, the Orb Weaver was shot with my Canon G10 point and shooter camera
does a decent job on macros, had to keep moving about to catch the different angles.

Amazing photography Gary!!!!!
Did you take those pix free hand or with a tri-pod?
I love little buggers like that, especially spiders, and that orange one is beautiful!!
I would love to add your photos to my critter file!!!
Would that be ok with you?

Awesome! I love spiders and all sorts of creepy crawlies. They're fascinating to watch. That's the worst part of the weather getting cooler for me- no more critters to watch crawling around outside.
