A Spydie that is closest to a "Manix"..

It looking more and more like my quest for a PE Manix C95, at least until the new one comes out, is going to end up being unattainable. So, with that said - I was wondering what other model Spydie other forums members felt was the closest to a Manix - in shape, size and weight, quality....so at least I can try for that (and I don't mean the Mini-Manix either ;-) ) Let me know what you think...
 
For size & weight I'd look at the Chinook 3.
On those aspects it's very similar to the Manix.
Quality is the same.

As for the blade shape, that's obviously a matter of personal preference.

Cool...at least I have the Tenacious....so I have that covered.

--Does anyone have a pic showing the Tenacious PE ans the C95 Manix PE side by side..?

Sort of following the post by gnius, I'd have to say that the Chinook III and Manix - both made in Colorado w/S30V) are a pretty big step up from the Tenacious.

Don't have a picture of the Manix for you. Sold it and haven't missed it.
Kept my Chinook III, though.
 
From what I've read on the forums the Chinook is your best bet. I *love* my PE full sized manix. It gets a lot of pocket time. I regret not getting 2.
 
Another for a Chinook. The Tenacious (while a great knife imo) doesn't even come close to the tank like feel of my Chinook III.
 
A lot of you are saying the Chinook III...however the blade shape is very dissimilar..
At least it has the tank feel, which is what I want...
 
Look at the shape of the cutting edge not the overall shape of the blade, it's not that different

Well you won't be getting it from the Caly III any time soon. Go Chinook or wait to see if anything comes of that Ball-Lock Manix lookin' thing people were seeing at SHOT.
 
I dig my PE fullsize manix, but have not even given a thought to a chinook III. Just not my kind of knife I suppose.

There's one going for 157$ on ebay right now... w/ 3 days to go still...
