John, that would make quite a DDD Maker Book as they have a very interesting history.
And the photos would be outstanding as they live in a very beautiful part of the country. Anyone see "Last of the Mohicans"?

I have Daniel Winkler on my short list for this series but did not
as yet make the connection.

I am waiting to have two books in this series each depicting
a completely different knifemaking discipline. After that, anything
I say will be backed by two great documents and I really won't
have much talking to do to convey my concept efficiently...

Any of you guys acquainted with Daniel Winkler personally?
Will he be at the BLADE Show?

I don't know Daniel on a personal level David , although we have spoke on the phone a couple of times and a few emails.He and Karen are usually at Blade every year. His personal website is www.winklerknives.com and all of his contact info is there. We sure would like to see this book!

Thanks John,

I have seen Daniel Winkler's Site and many combinations of his knives
and hawks and Karen's sheaths.

He wouldn't have been on my list of knifemaking disciplines
if I was not convinced after doing an extensive research on his work....

Time will tell.......
