Learned something important too, it's Cat-a-raw-goose... I'd always thought it was pronounced: Cat-a-raw-Gus.
 
This would seem to belong in this thread.

Cattaraugus also sold a whittler's kit that included the Whittle Kraft knife, the booklet, wood block, all in a cloth bag with a nice printed graphics.

I have never seen an intact set, but I bought a dozen mint condition empty bags from an antique dealer in Salamanca New York a few years ago.

I don't have any of the bags left but I will see if I still have a photo of one.

That is a great set, you are fortunate to have been able to piece it together:)
 
I posted this for sale on the famous auction site. I want to let you guys know about it because I really want a true lover of these great knives to get it.
