I would be irate. GEC needs this one back.
It was a culmination of things, so in the end i did send it back. But that was a huge part of it.

Looks fine to me. Natural materials like stag and bone are very rarely perfectly matched; that's the nature of the beast.
I hate it when people like you say stuff like that. If the scales were the only flaw then maybe id be inclined to agree with you, but this knife was 145 bucks, vs maybe 80 or 90 bucks if i had went with a different scale material. It had lazy blades, burnt springs, terribly matched stag, along with a bunch of other things i wont go into. Manufacturers should be held responsible for their flaws, not simply brushed off because its "natural."

yes sir. i did a whole post with all the things wrong with it. I wont go there now tho :D
 
I’m not fussy about the details of a production knife. It’s function that matters.

Except for stag.

I don’t look for the covers to be an exact match. But they must be about the same thickness and about the same color. If a knife doesn't have that, I’d sooner go with bone.
