Hello everyone , ground this knife from 3/16th O-1 tool steel . Heat treat by Peter's , Rc 59-60 . It is flat ground and satin finished . Comments welcomed .
specs are

O.A.L is 8-1/4"
Blade is 3-3/4" tip to handle
Sharpened edge is 3-1/2"
width is 7/8" at Ricasso
Pins are S.S. tube , copper tube , and brass rod .
Handle is Natural linen Micarta

All, I have a cord wrapped version of this...same sheath and I love it! This is a purtier version, very knice!
 
I don't usually care for the American Tanto blade shape, but the overall effect of this knife's clean lines is very pleasing. Especially like the subtle bit of "wasp waist" curve to the handle--contrasts nicely with the more geometric shape of the blade.

I just received this knife and I have to tell you guys - it is a fantastic hearty beast of a blade - you gotta get one of these - the pics don't even come close to showing how nice this blade is!!! THANKS Jack!!!
