Following up on my last post...she is not impressed with us....
We got a new couch few weeks ago.... she busted out two of those to do whatever witchcraft she needs figure out the location of the yet non-existent object in an existing space...
I still have no clue what it does...

Usually when I buy new from Wauseon, I choose the base canvas Micarta and plus when Nuker and Boss1911 weighed in with balance points I locked in with the canvas Mic....
but........
then I review the pics in this glorious thread and took a second gander at Nuker's 1st day pics, and I don't think I've seen more perfect grips than that first pair of black & tan g10s!
That milling and resulting pattern in the plys is just so, so pleasing to me. So I ponyed up for the upgrade. I only hope mine are as perfect and HANDsome as Nuke's!

They’re pretty handle heavy, I really doubt it. Granted, they balance just about 1” in front of the guard (G10).

It is a great sword but I think a light brigade treatment would be fun too. A lot more nimble. EPIC is a word that gets tossed around a lot these days.
But, for me, I reserve the term to describe an extraordinary artwork that is impressive in terms of size, quality, and execution.

Thanks Boss, you were one of the Hogs who helped me pull the trigger on this one.
The thing about this model-- I feel like it's so massive and beautiful, my eye and camera can't take it all in at one time. This isn't something I say about every blade.
It's a great thing to make a 5" blade functional, quality, and attractive.
But it's next level to make something this scale, this outstanding. That's why I called it EPIC.
