I'm a noob here, so if this should be posted somewhere else, let me know...
That said, I Just finished Up some custom scales for my Tenacious today, and wanted to share some pics with y'all.
I used Honduran Rosewood. The pocket clip screws needed to be longer and the only correctly sized ones i could find locally were these cheap slotted ones, I've ordered some SS Torx replacements.
Here are the pics

Gonna try a darker East Indian Rosewood next.

I kind of like the look of the slotted screws. Probably a dumb question, but do you have a belt sander or did you finish by hand?

Thanks guys!
Sturubu: One Word-Dremel ;) Though I did hand sand for the final finish. Dremel was for shaping and counterboring the screw holes.
Hogger: I know. I hate them. They will be gone ASAP.
Bean_sips: Thanks, mine too. I'll post pics of the next ones. They'll be darker rosewood.

Looks great.
And I actually kind of like the Slotted Screws.
It gives the knife a different look, and I love different lol.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I've always loved the look of fine wood and wanted to try my hand at folder scales. Started with the Tenacious because if I messed it up, I wouldn't have to commit Seppuku. ;) After another set or two for this knife, I'm going to move up to some higher end Spydies and maybe some other folders. I've got a Breeden Rescue ordered, so that one will probably be the next step up.

Also, thanks for stopping in Sal. I'm honored that you took the time to look at my humble offering. :) Thanks for all the great knives, I've definitely been bitten!

Looks grand. It'll stand out a great deal. I'm especially fond of this particular variation of Rosewood you used. It's got a nice color/grain/texture to it.
