Just to say thanks to all for the advice a couple of weeks ago on how to fix a cracked kukri handle.
It worked fine with the slow-setting superglue, a bit of careful sanding and a few coats of (unboiled and then boiled) linseed oil later the repair is practically invisible.

Guessed it right - other half feels much happier and more confident with her new 12" blade, rather than the longer sirupates I use.
