A thought and wanting opinions from the experts.

Agree that a knife is better viewed as a tool than a weapon. As a weapon, one should be extremely careful on how it is carried and used, especially in states that have liberal self defense laws. For those that have a negative stigma associated with knife carrying, there is not likely much you can do to change their mind in my experience.

Not only that, but there are plenty of better weapons widely available on the market today.:D

How I view my knife , and how others view it seem to be different things entirely
A 4 yr old in my care ... at the social workers office , she was destroying pencils , unable to sharpen them withthe provided sharpener , and totally missing the point of the reason we were there for the fuss about pencils ... I quietly got up , picked up the majority of the broken ones and told her Ill fix them , went off to the bin and began quietly sharpening them with my little svord ...
Social worker gets up and comes to have a look at what Im doing , and near flipped out " what the hell is that ??'
" a pencil sharpener "
" but .. but its a .. isnt that illegal ?"
" I dont think so , its only sharpening pencils "

I got asked not to bring it back next session ...
