This is the result of me spending too much time in the shower while thinking about knives. I know you've done it. Shut up.
There are many knives that have one or more aspects I like, but I don't like the knives as a whole. For example:
Spyderco Yojimbo - the square cutout on the compression lock is the worst! I always feel like I'm going to drop the darned things. However, that blade is PERFECT!
Spyderco Manix2 XL - Love the lock, love the ergonomics, hate how thin the blade is. Yes, I know it's for maximum cutting performance, but that doesn't change my mental image of it being fragile!
Solution: Combine the two! 3.85" Hollow-ground Wharncliffe blade, Caged Ball Bearing lock, and the handle of the Manix! I want that knife!
I'm curious to see what composite knives you guys come up with - bonus points for pictures! (No bonus points for me, clearly)
