the blade was sanded out to 600gr. then etched for about 3 min. in 50/50 archers/water cleaned and nutrulized then oiled.

Agreed ! That is one wicked looking ( and beautiful ) blade , the guard and micarta color enhance the whole package , very nice indeed. :thumbup:

I used ni-black just long enough to mottle it. lots of windex to clean it off.
