A touristy Nias Sword

Nias island is off the coast of Sumatra. This is a Nias Balato. Not old. Never took a head (I hope ) Made for dancing, or tourist sales. Workmanship is pretty good. Looks good on the wall. Maybe one day I'll find an old one.

It's a fetish. Originally made from boar tusks, or other animal teeth, it held magic items inside. I suppose to protect the owner from harm in battle?
