A Trade for Schrade!

Navihawk, recent sales are all over the map. $45 to $125 depending on who is buying. Thawk can possibly add to my vague opinion??
Hawks everywhere:D!

My sentiments exactly on the B & M. Much prettier than the K-Horn, plus the B & M are gererally older and harder to find in nice condition. It doesn't always show in a photo.

I bought a 234K K-Horn a few months ago in the Schrade "View Pak Tube" for $32.00. Both of those 234K's are Schrade NY, not Waldens, so post 1973. I think a B&M is almost always a Walden or a Cut Co.

My belief is that the 234K B&M is the rare one, and some people don't know the difference. Each time a 234K B&M lists, it goes sky high. Way more than an 896K.

This hawk thinks a 234K or 896K in K-Horn average sale is about $40.00 - $50.00 now. Probably a little more if the tube is included. I've seen several slide under that price on Ebay. A few more have soared beyond.

Thanks for the heads up guys. The delrin looks to have a bit of a glow to it.They look like a good quality knife.I like how the 896 has somewhat sunken joints.

In person, I much prefer the B&M. Thawks 3 k-horns are nice, but the B&M has more depth to the finish, and better choice of colors.
Thanks for adding your experience to the pool Thawk!

All the colors on the delrin follow a pattern. In celluloid every handle is different isn't it?
