Hahaha. When life brings you problems, just baton everything. Bills you don't want to pay? Baton it! Poor phone reception? Baton it! UPS guy bangs your wife.... well, that's murder, but hey - baton it!
 
My mail lady did that a few times. They use a different lock, jam it full then wonder why the lower lock doesn't open. The trick is to train your postal carrier properly.

1. Insert key, curse fate and every postal carrier that ever lived when you realize what has happened. Again!
2. Snap key off in lock, accidentally of course.
3. Call postmaster and complain of idiocy, they fix lock.
4. Properly chastised and trained carrier now delivers packages to door.
5. Give carrier cookie. Good carrier.
 
So where are the pics? I've almost had that same problem a couple times. With enough jiggling and cussing I was eventually able to get it open (That's what she said)
