I want to take the time to recognize, here at Bladeforums, Wilde Bill Cody. He has worked at Buck for quite a few years and is a holdover from the Buck Custom Shop. Wilde Bill makes all the service award knives for Buck employees. He also makes the prototypes of new knife models as well as knife show award knives and other special projects. The Tracks series was Wilde Bill's idea. He truly loves making knives. I met Wilde Bill at the BCC ten year anniversary celebration at the Buck plant in July of 98. What a great guy! It is obviously apparent that he loves making knives. He has a gleam in his eyes when he talks about them. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting and talking with the man who made several of the knives that I have in my collection. It somehow makes those knives even more special, they are worth more to me now that the maker is a friend. Hats off to Wilde Bill Cody!

I could not agree with John more as to how great a guy Wilde Bill is. He has an incredible knack for making knives too! Quite a few of our new ideas come from knives he puts together.
