I wouldn't pay it either, but someone else might. Willing seller, willing buyer and all that.

You might also find that friends call friends behind the scenes and show knives are sold at cost. Hogs help each other out, and pay it forward. :thumbup:

I reached out to a guy here, and offered him my proxy services once, just because I felt he was a valuable contributor here, and personified the Busse/Hog spirit. OTOH, people that only use these forums to sell or complain are not likely to get help.
 
valid point resinguy...i'm too simple a guy to be a diehard hog and spend tons of time on just one brand (don't get me wrong - busse is a great brand. i have a bunch, but i'm a user not a collector)
so i guess i'll just look at those guys i'm referring to as opportunists as opposed to true knife enthusiasts. again, no bad karma for busse knives, just the annoying few who are in it to turn a quick profit.
 
Users are certainly most welcome here. As are collectors. A Hog is defined more by size of his or her spirit than the size of the collection. Tyrkon Lawson is, in my mind, a great example of a Hog, even though he only has two or three Busses. But he uses the hell out of them, and posted many pics and vids for our enjoyment.
 
Hogs are a generous bunch. Get to know a few, do some favors and the proxy world is your oyster. (Strangely, I hate oysters.)

How many months til the next Easton show??? I'm getting ready to go!!!!

Yep, that looks like a blast and i want to be apart of it. Next year will be my year to finally make it to blade.
