hello all , this was a very interesting and challenging piece to make . It started out from 1-3/4" 5/32 A-2 tool steel stock.

It has been flat ground with a 400 grit satin final finish . Heat treated to an Rc. 61 in my shop with a sub-zero quench

O.A.L is 8"

Blade , tip to handle is 3-1/4" BUT tip to blade end is 4" with the sharpened edge at 4" also .It is now 1-5/8" edge to spine .

Handle is premium book matched Cocobolo . The Brass pins where sized to match the handle shape ( small to large )

Sheath is from 8 oz leather for right or left hand carry .

Thank you for viewing my offerings and all comments welcomed .

thank you guys , I wish I could do better pictures , I'm trying . Those who know me know the piece is far nicer than the pics .

Had to comment... what a superb design! Really like the way a person can get right up inside the "center of gravity" of the blade. Controllable grip for precise, deliberate cuts... a wonderful skinner design. Bravo! ~ Rob
