Hi guys:
I have two knives for sale. Both have been used but certainly not abused. Both have been sharpened or re-profiled (see individual info/specs). I sell to Canada and the US and as I found out during my very first offer, shipping with tracking number and insurance of 100$ to the US is approx. 20-30$ depending on destination! And as before, I do not take over any responsibilities as soon as the knife leaves my hands in regards to loss, local law etc.

#1 is a Fletcher Bush Operator XL with a "homemade" convex edge, done on sandpaper. It would need a touch up. I only used it on cardboard and wood, never sharpened on power tools etc. The handles are orange G10. Here ere the specs from Fletcher's website. Remember that this model has been discontinued:

Total Length: 10.75"
Handle: 5"
Blade: 5.5" (sharpened edge) O1
Convex Saber Grind (with initial v-edge)
Handle material: orange G10 with Micarta pins I believe
Comes with a custom made leather sheath, made by Dylan!
Original price $US 230 + shipping,
asking $130 canadian + shipping

#2 Is a "one of a kind" Busse boss street "bird and trout" variant?! I bought this knife from the Busse website new and it was just too thick for my intention. So I sent it away to have it ground thinner by Mr. Murray Carter himself on a revolving Japanese waterstone wheel, water cooled. It is a slicer now and I have only used it as a wood carver since. Very sharp! I bought it for US$ 230 + shipping. I don't have any specs handy but you guys know that knife, the only difference is the new virtually full flat saber grind with a fine primary edge.
Comes with a fine custom made kydex sheath made by MashedCat.
I'd be happy to see $Can 130 + shipping.

I think those price tags are fair!
Please feel free to ask any further questions and I am more than happy to send you guys more pics via email if needed. Just let me know!
As usual, the first one to post "I'll take it" gets it!
Andy

EDIT: Sorry I'm confused about the edge - the pic seems to show a full convex edge but the description says it has an "initial v edge." Can you please explain what this means?

1. The busse is SPF to SunnyBunny.
2. CL, sorry about that. The Fletcher knife (and I think all of his knives) come with a convex grind but a primary v-edge. That is how Dylan sharpens his knives. I convexed this edge but it is not a full height convex that would follow the curve all along, although I agree it looks a bit like it. It has a steeper primary convex edge and a more acute secondary convex grind (if that makes sense?).

CL, I'd say the shoulder is gone, there is a smooth transition now. However, the blade thickness before the primary convex edge starts is still quite thick so the curve of the the convex edge is quite obtuse.

very interested in the Fletcher. For those of us with little or no exchange rate knowledge, how much shipped would it be to the US? Specifically, 38133.
