Sgian Dubh: A Very Black Knife

Blade: Crocodile Pattern Damascus, Grind and Heat Treat by Delbert Ealy

Handle construction is Hidden Tang. Hardwood core with Carbon Fiber Sleeve epoxied into place. Both ends faced with Carbon Fiber

Sheath is Kevlar With Carbon Fiber Sleeve Overlay.

Finger guard is Black Leather Turkshead.

7" OAL. Blade has a 3" cutting edge

Price is $180 plus shipping method of your choice. I will consider Shipping International for additional fees. Paypal preferred, but I will work with you for other payment methods

I sleeved an Inova flashlight with Carbon Fiber, I'll throw it in with the knife for an extra 15 bucks. See pic

It's absolutely great to see a Sgian Dubh in the "For Sale" section. The carbon fiber handle is very unique, especially on a Scottish style piece. It will look good sticking out of someone's sock. Good work... hope to see a matching Dirk.

Couple questions---how thick is the blade on this one? And, (betraying my ignorance of this knotting system) how solidly in place is the leather guard?

The blade is a hair under 1/8"

The handle has a bit of a taper, so the knot will slip backwards somewhat easily, but not forward. I will epoxy it into place at the customers request, then it will not go anywhere.
