This is a wonderful country! Brave soldiers willing to keep the peace world-wide, as well as contributing to the fight for freedom. Compassionate people, looking after their brothers and sisters.
A land of resources and opportunity.
A good friend to the USA, and many countries world-wide.

I wish my Canadian friends a most wonderful Day!!

How about posting your Canadian made or designed knives?
If you are Canadian, your favorite knife from anywhere??
:D

Happy Canada Day to you Charlie! I have one Canadian-made knife and it is in a group shot but I will post it anyway....

It is the top right one with the fancy bolsters. It has a Moose Head stamped on the Blade and I forgot the Company.

Shout out to my Canadian Bro Robin (Pipeman). If you would like this knife Robin I will send it to you. :)

I wanna wish all my Canadian neighbors a Happy Canada Day, to all my Canadian friends in W&C, I was never here, I never said anything. To all the rest of my Canadian friends, have a great and safe day. ;)

I'm sorry to say, only one knife comes to mind when I think of Canadian knives, albeit an iconic knife that has defined Bushcraft and the knives used in the great white north the DH Russell is the only thing that come to mind.

Looking forward to learning a little more about the Canadian knife industry and community. :)

Happy Kanata day Charlie, Canadas number ONE knife designer :D
Here a couple of long time residents of Canada, both Brits who came to escape the rain in Britain and found SNOW and RAIN. Pics taken between torrential downpours.

Happy holiday good folks.

Best regards

Robin

Hope all my fellow Canucks are having a good Canada Day, I'm trying to get a bit of yardwork done before the rain hits. Maybe have a couple 'pops' and relax the rest of the day hahaha

Dug out the only knife I had with a strong Canadian connection. This happens to be the first knife I ever owned, got it from my grandfather when I was probably 8 or 9 years old. Not Canadian made, however from all of my research I'm pretty sure this company sold almost exclusively to the Canadian market.

I don't have any Canadian made knives but I do love the Canadian belt knife, great pattern. Happy Canadian day to our northern friends! Have a Molson!

Lovely knives Robin. Especially like the Warncliff whittler, great jigged bone handles.

If memory serves me, Premier was a NY based company, an importer but they had an office in Toronto, on King St (I Think) from 1921 to present. This according to Levine so "present" could mean 1998 ish. I think they're still listed in the TO phone books though.

Best regards

Robin

Charlie....where are some of your knives? Are you holding out on us? :D We know you have a FEW.....

I believe this beauty in ram's horn has a Canadian lineage. Have a great one, Charlie!

That's a beauty of a knife, Jeff! The Ram's Horn may have come from Canada, however, Ontario is/was Queen's sister company, in New York State.
I'm pretty sure Queen made their folders.
I think there is an Ontario in California also - a city that is . . .

I wonder about the origin of the name Ontario???

As close as a click away!! Google says:

"Origin of the Name Ontario: The name for the province of Ontario is from an Iroquois word meaning beautiful lake or beautiful water and was first used for Lake Ontario, one of the Great Lakes."

Happy Canada Day everyone. A selection of Canadian-related knives to celebrate the day.
