Hello all , this design of bird and trout I started making back in the early 90's , been awhile since I have done one .

It has a full height flat grind , with a 600 grit hand sanded finish . It was ground from 3/32" ATS-34 Stainless Steel . I heat treated it to an Rc. 61 to maintain a hard and sharp edge . It also received the sub-zero quench to gain that extra point of hardness and transform the RA.

O.A.L is 8-1/4"

Blade is 3-1/2" and is 5/8 " tall edge to spine , 1" at the finger guard

Sharpened edge is at 3"

Handle is Stabilized and dyed Hawaiian Mango with 3 -5/32 silver tubed mosaic pins

Sheath is 5-6 oz , right hand belt carry

I just got your unexpected gift in the mail. It looks just like this knife, except in my favorite wood (purpleheart). How generous of you. My wife and I are going up to Mt. Rushmore later this month, and I was hoping to get in some trout fishing while were there. What great timing. Thank you so much!

Hey jack, I received your fine bird and trout knife today... Thank you very much as this knife couldn't be much finer! VERY nice, clean work and this will
