You may recall my past thread asking for advice on gifts for my three little cousins. They're all daughters in a US Embassy family in South America, and came to visit stateside relatives this Christmas.

The girls are 7, 12, and 14.

In order of age, they received a pink Victorinox Swiss Army knife, an Opinel #6, and a Leatherman Micra. As you can see by the pics, they were pretty pleased.

Thanks for sharing that holiday experience with us, great pics (and knives).
 
Probably the one gift they recieved this year that will still be with them and functional forever- if taken care of properly.
