A Very Simple Bowie

Thanks again guys. Like I said this is a very simple Bowie. Nothing fancy and nothing difficult about it. Someday I hope I can make something real nice like some of the other Bowles shown in this forum.

Simplicity is a beautiful thing, and that knife is beautiful! Straight forward, quality materials and excellent craftsmanship. Looks about perfect to me...
 
It is a classic profile with a VERY clean look! I like it a LOT Ray. Walnut is nice wood too. But with all the awesome leather you've been working....where is the sheath:D

Thanks guys.

Peter, after seeing one of my bowies in a Paul Long sheath a few weeks ago, I don't know if I want to make sheaths anymore:o, at least not for a bowie. I think this one deserves a Paul Long sheath so I'm probably going to have him make me one before the show.

Simple, my ass - it takes an incredible amount of skill and aptitude to keep everything as 'simple' as you state. You've got mad skills, bro. I've always been jealous of how disgustingly CLEAN you keep everything.

I like it a lot. The proportions are really nice and execution is clean. The fluting is a nice touch, makes the guard area seem more interesting. Good job!
 
Thanks for all the comments. I really didn't expect such a simple ordinary bowie to get this much good response. Im very happy to hear all this encouragement.
