A very special knife for Mackenzie

I want to thank everyone for keeping the ball rolling. I did very little but enjoyed being apart of this project. Good to hear your little one is enjoying life!!

If you dont mind I'd also like to put this on my site as a colaboration.
I'll list what was done.

Thanks for being a part of this Brian. As I told Dan, This is a better knife because of everyones contribution. The most important thing is that it makes a little girl feel good. Maybe this will be a good memory later in life when she thinks about her childhood and what she had to go through.

By the way, I met Sean at the 2005 Badger Knife show and he is a great guy to talk to, I wish him and his family well.

Very cool thread guys. Awesome work on that knife and most important, Its good to hear that she is doing well.

Congrats you guys !

Shane

Thanks again guys, and you all can feel free to use any picture I post with Mack and the Knife.

I told her about the knife today when I talked to her. She asked why you all made it for her and I told her and then she had to ask me two or three times if it was hers and just hers. I assured her it was and she just giggled with her "nervous laugh" so I know she is excited.

She wants to send each of you a thank you card, that was her idea and she made me promise that I will get your addresses. She also wants ot post a message here, so when I post her picture I will let her type her message too. She is crazy. Must take after her mom.

Thanks again guys, this is just a fantastic thing you have done. I still haven't stopped smiling about it. I have told a bunch of people at work about it and they can't get over how thoughtful and kind it was.

Sean I'm glad Mackenzie is doing so well! I can't imagine being on a dance squad even in my youthful energetic state, my hat's off to that super little girl. She's something special.

Michael et al, you have done a fantastic thing with Mack's (exceptionally fine) knife. My hat is off to you too. What a great community we have! You guys and all the others like you make it great.

Can't wait to see a picture of Mackenzie with her new knife! Who knows, between this gift and her father's influence she may be one of the next great makers or collectors. Wouldn't that be cool?

Kudos all around.

According to USPS Delivery Confirmation tracking the knife has been delivered on Aug 24th. Sean, is this in your hands?

She couldn't be any prettier no matter what! What a sweet young lady. Sean, tell her that even those of us who didn't have anything to do with the knife appreciate her thank you note and picture. She may wonder why, it's just because we're all one big happy family. :D

 I've never seen a prettier young girl in my life! Certainly not a happier one!
Congrats all around Sean.

Sean, I'm glad your daughter is feeling better. You guys rock. I've got tears in my eyes reading this thread. You make me proud to be a member of this forum. You're good people. It cheers me to see things like this going on. Helps counterbalance all the negative stuff we see every day.
Mackenzie, I'm very happy for you that you're feeling better, and that you got such a cool knife. I hope it keeps reminding you that there good people out here that are keeping you in they're prayers.
Thanks guys!
Ed
