A Very Special Knife

Strigamort, I am truly blessed that you like the knife, and appreciate the very kind words. You were right in that the knife meant a lot to my Grandfather, and to me as I watched him use it most of my adolescent years. I was lucky to have been raised by him, and was taught the love of the outdoors, and taking care of what you had.
It was for that reason that I decided to pass it on to someone that can enjoy and get some use out of it, as my daughter has no interest in my knives. (who would have guessed?) I hope it brings you years of use and pleasure.

My thanks to those that have replied for their kind words, which just goes to show that this forum is truly a great place to hang out on the "porch" with good people and friends.

Your comments are spot on guys. Especially comments about making a day a little brighter and the like. There are a number of things and people around here, through the boards and emails, that have really made some tough times a little better. Very proud to be associated with ya'll, you know who you are. ;)

Oh and btw, I meant to write that my wife was looking for fabric at the store... Not that I have anything against fabric! :D
