So, a while back I asked Clitch if I could send him my BK7 that I carried in Iraq and have him etch "Damn Few" into the blade. The full toast is in my sig. When Clitch got it, he said he was going to o something extra special and unique. Today I got a package in the mail from Clitch and this is what was inside.

Words cannot express what this means to me.

Even my wife who doesnt really care for knives all that much was oooh-ing and ahhhh-ing over this blade.

Clitch, Oregon... this blade will be handed down to my son, and to his son, and so on for generations to come. Thank you so much!

That's a damn nice gesture! I hope the 7 served you well on duty in Iraq. Do share some experiences you had with your knife there.

Truely an amazing knife and what a reminder thank you for your service to our country. This is truelly the best looking knife I have ever seen! Amazing worksmanship and so much meaning thank you for sharing.

That is beautiful, Cliching may not be for me but with pieces like this I still have to respect the master and his work and Fal'er's scales are awesome too. Like you said, this is something to treasure and be handed down from generation to generation.

I hope I don't make anyone mad but I have had pics of that setup on my email from clich for a couple weeks. I sent my 9 to him and he sent me the pics to show what he.was workin on

That is an epic BK7. Great job guys, that is really a piece of art now. I'm not one to say toss it in a safe...so I wont. I'll just say, don't beat her up lol.

WOW, words cannot express how amazing that is nor can they express how grateful my family and I are for men and women like yourself who so selflessly serve our country and protect this amazing country we live in and all who live here. Thank you sir. What a great job Clich and Oregon Faler.

OMFG.... I don't really have much else to say... the detail on that etch is spectacular. I love this forum... The BK knives have become my new favorites in just a couple of weeks. That 7 is incredible. I can only imagine some kid... generations from now... saying... "Yep, my great grandpa carried this knife in war.."

Thank you for your service.

Glad you like it. It was a fun project, sorry for the delay. And really, isn't making the wife speechless the real gift here? :D :D :D. Jk

I'm speechless.
I knew Clich and Oregon were good guys, but they have topped my list of special people.
Thanks for this post.

That is amazing! I have been poking around into this "Cliching"/homebrw etching thing but this.....wow!
now all we need to see is some more tutorials on detail work....
....and I need to get a Becker lol

You guys created the "King BK7". The side with the dog tags hanging from the cross is insanely good!
Great job and thanks for serving jarodmichael. I just ordered a BK7 5min ago because of you guys. Seriously.

Clich, Oregon... not sure what to say other than well done in so many ways !!!
