a very specific small knife

I have a Tenacious (first and only Spyderco knife) but it is too big in a country were knives are looked down upon.
So what i'd need is a knife that is bigger than a Ladybug but smaller than a Delica. What i mean by that is not the size of the blade but the size of the overall knife when closed

Important aspects are:
1. pocket clip
2. designed with defensive situations in mind
3. temperature resistant handle material (not too cold in winter, too hot in summer)

Examples for size would be the Dodo, Cricket, Dragonfly, Balance etc.
What would you recommend?

(btw i should mention that it can be from the byrd line too, if it means i can safe some money)

I strongly recommend the ZDP/CF Michael Walker. In between the Dragonfly and Delica size, great ergos, super light, great swedge grind for more of a "tactical" design

you can find it for around $100, it has superb fit and finish and materials--ZDP is an amazing steel

+1 if you like your tenacious but just want a smaller knife then you can't go wrong with the ambitious.

what uses ? if it's only defensive i'd go for the dodo. i've always thought this reverse S blade with the impact thingy at the butt of the handle and the great ergos was the perfect concealed SD knife.


that's why i don't carry it ... but still love the design and ergos.
