A visit to Mount Shasta, California

Tony G, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the sellers counter offer, and we accepted. ;)

Bad news? That is great news for me, maybe bad for you.:D I'm always looking for a place to rent up there.:foot:

I always go to the Scott Valley (about 35-45 miles west/northwest from where that photo looks to be taken from) where my old friend Mike Neel lives. In fact I should introduce you if we get that chance. Besides being a significant figure in the history of American bike racing he has hunted and fished that area for maybe 25 years.

I have been up or over every Mt Pass Road within 50 miles of there. Best bike riding I have seen other than the French Alps:thumbup:  Well if you are fit:o

think about it this way, when it blows, you will have front row seating.

make sure you build an underground vault for your INFI so when us hogs go looking we can find the treasure.

congrats on the property by the way, awesome view.

nice view! hope it stays extinct

DORMANT, Skunk! The word is dormant. ;)

Great place to live Lunde, gas is a bit pricey but it is pricey anywhere in California. Just don't gas up in Weed or Doris. Just into Oregon are some decent gas prices.

Stunning views. Just hope someone doesn't decide to build a highrise apt building a few hundred yards in front of you ;). Congrats.

Wow....I'm thinking it must be pretty good to be Ken Lunde!:D

Congrats on what looks like a fantastic getaway Ken. I imagine you and the family have worked very hard to get something as beautiful as this. Job well done man!

Beautiful photo, Ken!

Congratulations on getting the property!

Another nice thing about that area, I've heard getting a carry permit is quite a bit easier in that county. :-)

Heh heh... I am way ahead of you. It finally dawned on me that I now have a purpose for my pair of 50 BMG McMillan rifles, given that I have yet to spot any rogue T-Rexes.: View Insurance/Assurance.:thumbup:
